Spring bedding - alliums, salvias and tulips

Wednesday 7th November
Weather: A pretty day - the warmest in November so far

We did a bedding in the High Garden of Salvia turkestanica, a mix of Allium 'Purple Sensation' and Tulipa 'Perestroyka'.

For this planting we're keeping the bulbs approximately a trowel spade apart. This is one of the ideal trowels for bulbs, because we have to plant them 2.5 bulbs length deep this, long thing tool helps give this depth easily.
